Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I wore a lovely newt dress for the first time today - it's a deep egg yolkey sunshine yellow which is quite a departure from my usual palette of red black and grey, but I fell for it as soon as I saw it and today was the perfect day for it.

And Sam is out in the garden building a newt and long contemplated archway between the end of the garage and the raised bed on the other side. Hopefully it will give the wisteria something more productive to do with itself than trying to peel the garage roof off (and as a bonus, improve the privacy of that end of the garden by blocking it from the view of the neighbours upstairs windows). It's looking fantastic, I'm just sad that my cripplitude means I can't be much help.
I've had to content myself with having a bacon butty and some real beer, instead. It's a hard old life.

Been on the beach at West Wittering all day. Getting fish and chips on the way home. That’s a first for the year, haven’t had fish and chips from a shop for ages

It tastes good after being at the beach doesn’t it?
Today’s newt was taking the family to a nice restaurant they’d not been to before. Ds1 has halloumi which he said he didn’t like but I think he’d like it given a chance. I had basil panna cotta which was weird but nice :) Later I stopped at the pub and found they had a beer festival so had a flight of beers. Yum.
