Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

You can hear the buzz in your messages Hann!!! Don’t forget buying newt shoes too.

Merest news Cath they’re doing amazing at vax’s

Flowers definitely blooming even up north spring is trying hard to arrive (if this wind would now do one!)

All very dull here I did a double cardio/strength workout this morning and work is keeping me chained to the desk (although I’m having a sofa afternoon as I’m writing presentations)

But I have just ordered some newt trail shoes and a top MySportsandMore have £10 off your first order over £25 the shoes were only £27.99 (I’ve got the older version currently) bargain!

I am going to be doing some newt learning at 3pm. A webinar called Social Justice in a Brave New World. Of course I might need a nap before then in order to be able to process the new learning.

Naps are essential!

I am hiding in the car from a sudden hail storm. Tjis current storm is pretty temperamental!

And yes, newt shoe too ☺️

This thread is so good! It focusses you on how good the little things of Spring are. It is a true anti-lent thread! You are a genius Sharkie 😀

Exciting newt for me - as I'm at my office in Brussels again (not that bit) I'm going to meet up with one of my Belgian rugby club girls this eve and go for a run. I've not seen her in person since August.

Also there will be hills. I've not run on a proper hill... since August, probably.

Hail has turned to rain... I am about to do a newt and cry off! I hurt my shoulder a few weeks ago. I overdid it pruning fruit trees. I guided my friend this morning to tape up my biceps and shoulder and it feels really good. Don't want to get cold and wet 😟 I am turning into a wimp, but I can do some indoor work getting quotes for turf and plants and invoicing that to the client... Hmmm...

I've ordered Nell a beautiful new collar. Why should I be the only one getting colourful new things?

My friend just bought her little dog a purple harness and bright pink lead 😀 her partner now doesn't want to walk the wee thing any more. We argued that a red harness and lead wasn't any less girly. In fact, men that wear pink are very mascine indeed 😎

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
