Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That tiny habits thing looks really interesting HP. I haven’t had time to read it properly but I will later.

HP and Mazlin try looking at Atomic Habits by James Clear too

Never to be repeated (I expect!) newt for me! I've just done a video review for Udderly Smooth chamois cream!

I am wearing a random fleece, a cycling gilet, walking boots but hey: a newt sports bra and newt leggings. The walking is being reduced in favour of running and "newt" fell shoes are arriving...

Next we know I am a runner again... For now, that all seems very newt!

I should have a newt jumper by now, but I'm putting off sewing it up because I think I hate sewing up (I don't mind it when I get started). I mean, putting it off to the extent that I'm now knitting a newt hat, which I count as part of the same project because it matches the jumper.

I have a hat I promised to send to someone and haven't sent yet because I haven't sewn up the matching handjumpers I decided to make with the rest of the yarn. Am useless sometimes.

THAT wasn't yesterday, Hann! It was when you did the Fred, wasn't it?

I think it was!!! Certainly not newt, but I still have it and wear it. It matches my orange kit and burgundy walking/hiking jackets.

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
