A 2017 thread for anyone bored of counting along the x-axis I suspect it may just be me that cares about the up, but who knows? Runners, cyclists, swimmers (!) all welcome! I racked up 47 miles of up last year, so fell a bit short. Am hoping life in hillier surroundings and the motivation boost from life in hillier surroundings is enough to get me to the magic 52 |

I don't measure vert when walking and running, but would be happy to play along on the bike.

I don't keep a tally when I'm actually doing climbing either, but it wouldn't be difficult to start totting it up.

Yeah, you're right - 'climb' isn't the right word, Night-owl! It's the 'ascent' number in the run report I was thinking of, but if there are any insane rock climbers on Fetch, they are also more than welcome

I might! On a PC .. 1. Click the 2. Click your photo/avatar icon 3. Scroll down 4. Soon, it'll say 'My stats'; scroll a bit further 5. Then, you'll see 2016 (or 2017, if you're reading this in the future) 6. Beneath that 'Elev Gain' is the up/ascent/climb you've achieved in 2016 (or whatever year is selected - you can check previous years) |
