The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

An aluminium step ladder was taken from outside room 413a on the fourth floor A block

Could the person who borrowed our step ladder please return it, as we use it on a daily basis.

2.1 Staff hosting a visitor into the building MUST collect the individual from the access point or reception and not leave them to find their own way to their destination. They should be escorted at all times. This also means taking your visitor back to the exit door.

2.2 Under no circumstances should staff allow access through the swipe doors to anyone who is waiting in the lobby or phones for access unless they escort the individual to their destination.

2.3 Identity cards MUST be worn at all times inside the building. Anybody without an identity card will be removed from the building if found unescorted.

2.4 All staff are reminded to challenge any person wishing to enter all non-public areas without the proper identification.

2.5 All staff are reminded that offices MUST be locked at the end of the working day or when unmanned.

2.6 All Companies must ensure that where a digital lock has been fitted to their accommodation that the code is not displayed for unauthorised access.
