But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Dear Colleague,

There is a requirement to carry out a planned security hotfix deployment on all XXXX Windows 7 devices.
The deployment is due to start on 15th March 2018 and run till the 12th April 2018. When this is completed you will see a pop up that informs you the device will be re-booted in five minutes.

Please stop and save any work immediately. The reboot cannot be postponed.

Forced updates will temporarily cease everyday from 11:30am - 15:00pm to ensure users on lunch do not loose unsaved work.

Any concerns in relation to this change, please email the ITNOW Service desk (ITnowServicedesk@xxxxx, alternatively you can raise an incident via the Self Portal. To do this, click your Windows ‘Start’ button in the bottom left of your computer screen to see a shortcut to ITnow.

All,

As many of you have probably noticed by now, the hot water tank on the 3rd floor is not dispensing water, meaning everyone wanting a hot drink, having to venture down to the 2nd floor in order to make one. The hot water tank on the 2nd floor seems to be on it’s way out as well, so I’ve raised the fault this morning for both tanks and have had the issue escalated.

They have raised it as a C2 incident which carries a 4 hour SLA. So I anticipate an engineer coming out this afternoon to fix the problem. If this changes at any point I will send an update to you all.
