Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

It's the time of year for "those" magazines...

Post the details of those that you see here.

Art of Quilting
Make a quilt...first issue 99p

Wadding and backing sold separately.

£3.99 for subsequent issues.

Only 90 issues required to complete the quilt.

So, that's *just* £356.10 for a quilt that will take nearly two years to complete...without backing and wadding.

Bargain!

Raptors Claws are coming to town
I saw that yesterday and commented that it would be the most expensive quilt that anyone has ever made using their own time and someone else's choice of materials.

Then there's the one where, if you buy 25,000 issues of a publication, you will eventually be the owner of bits of plastic that can be assembled into the shape of a small human skeleton.

oi you
Whereas...

I know someone who's been a subscriber to RW for, let's say, 15 years - 750 quid for a guess. I've run, sorry they've run, 14000 miles in that time, bought all their own kit, paid extra for race entries etc etc. - lets' say 2 grand
At the pace I'll be running soon a nice quilt might be quite handy.

Oh wow. Another gem:
simplestylishknitting.com
£3.99 per mag

99p for the first one...of course.

You can make a throw, but they fail to mention how many magazines you need for that...

Got something to say?
