I read it all last night.
Summary: It's a long way. If you're fast it's an easier course. The organisers believe that they are brilliant.

There's a new finish "village" on the beach this year, not just the charity stuff... might help if you are trying to meet up with peeps but to be honest the idea of walking on pebbles after the race is not appealing to me!
Oh and the pens have changed for the start which is exceedingly sucky - pen 1 is now: 3:15-4 hours
Grrrr wish I had put in for the "elite" (sub 3:15) start now

Its just annoying because the start is quite congested and I do not want to go off too fast in order to get at the front of people who will be finishing up to 45 mins behind me. Last year they had 30 minute bands I think which works a lot better...ho hum. Something for me to worry about on race day

When they rejected my sub 3:15 bid, they promised me that I'd be alocated the front pen.
Of course, this means that, unless I get there early, I'll have folk running up to 2 mins a mile slower than me starting in front of me.
Given my predeliction to starting like a rocket and blowing up in spectacular fashion, this may or may not be a good thing.
