Thanks for the responses, Fetchies. I had the surgery and it was very successful. 34g to 34d. Back in the exercise saddle now and training like mad. I got myself really fit before the surgery so that I would recover quickly. I had 3 months off from any training, and have only just started upper body weights , 6 months on from the op. I haven't done any running yet! Certainly won't be getting any black eyes now...

Brilliant news! It must feel great to be able to wear normal sports bras instead of those suit-of-armour things :)
