Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

"Low key with minimal support" was the description I read midway through.

I have seen someone has posted on Twitter a call to arms for someone to do ‘the wainwrongs’ route. 55 peaks which are not Wainwrights. 😂

Wasn’t sure how to plot points to play dot to dot.

Im also eying up Seatallrn, Middle Fell and Buckbarrow as well.

Sounds great Dave. You could do the BGR route as far as Pillar then double back and follow the JNLC line to Middle Fell. Easy to bob across to Buckbarrow from there 🙂

My ‘plan’ was to do do the BG route to Green Gable taking in the other summits on the way round, Looking Stead, all of Scot’s Fell, go the long way up Yewbarrow, the down by Styehead Tarn. Weather permitting I’ll look at a run the next day doing Middle Fell etc.
Alix has kindly volunteered after dog walks to sit by the tent, dog sit and read a book.

It’s more to get some hard hills in my legs as I have Ultimate Trails 55k in July. Unfortunately trying to chase Carol round 1/2 a leg of her WW round highlighted some deficiencies in my fitness.
