Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ha! That was Geoff Cox himself, funny thing .... I've got that T-shirt too :-) It was black the year you and I did it wasn't it? It was the last HM30 from the old village hall as I remember.

I've done four or five of them, but they have all started to merge in the memory!. It's become a NYD tradition. I'm looking forward to the year I start it sober and can actually give it a proper go :).

It's a better route done out in 2 loops from RHB.

I think I've done three or four. I can't imagine you'll forget the particular one I mentioned above. It's embedded in my memory (unfortunately) :-)

That was the one. There was also a particular incident in the corner of the village hall (by the toasters) that sticks in my mind .... you and I were having a little chat as I recall.

I hate to break up the bromance between you 3 ;-) but I'm hoping to have a very slow trot around leg 1 over the weekend / early next week, I'm familiar with the route up until dropping off Blencathra down to Threkeld .......... any tips from you pro's ?

I'm ob not doing it from a intent to attempt 24 hours at any point as that's way out of my league but would like to get familiar with the route over several days :-)
