Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Back pain when running?

I keep getting back ache after running and today, during my run. Am I right in assuming that it's down to my posture and in time I'll work it out? I'm trying to get back into doing yoga more often to sort my core and straighten my posture out as I do have scoliosis, which tips me over to one side.

Any ideas for anything I could do greatly appreciated. :)

It's right in my coccyx tonight, but usually just slightly above that.

Good call, Liliaicha. Shoes would be worth checking too - excess wear on outsole. Surfaces: geting off road is a treat for back and all joints & muscles.

Def core work. And stretching. Specifically try to stretch out your hip flexors.

Cheers m'dears. I will keep on with the yoga then. There aren't many places I can go off road without driving and I can't be doing with that.

I'd take a good look at your posture when you run, are you bending forward at the waist?

Yep. I used to be a sufferer. Huge time. Still do when it's very long.

Pilates has helped immensely. Also like has been mention, posture.
