Great running Kstuart.....i can only dream of such a feat
17 miles this afternoon takes me to 54 miles for the month. Poor week started with a lesson that lunges and squatting don't mix with running.....had to take 3 days off to recover!!! still all's well that ends well!!!

We often do gentle lunges and squats at my running club as part of the drills after warm-up. Maybe you are doing them too vigorously Flipster?
20 miles this afternoon takes me to 94 for Feb
After tomorrow's recovery and Tuesday's club session I will be over the line for the first two months

Just over halfway for me, 56 miles so far thanks to 6 xc yesterday and a brilliant 15 this morning on towpath and trails at long run training pace.

Jobe I know what your mean I ended running miles for the sake of running them and this time I am trying to do some proper sessions and if doing that I get over the line great..if not so be it.

Keep the focus folks! If you have a plan stick to it (as well as the body says you should) an use use in here as the motivation to get out for that planned stuff!
I've reached month 2 - tick today. For me tho it's May, June an November / December when I'll need the extra motivation to keep ticking over at a nice level

Great milage Magpie Rob, think i overdid it with the squats. Too much weight and too many reps.......I always seem to learn things the hard way!!
6.7 miles with my running club tonight takes me to 60 for the month and we're nearly at the half way stage....
