Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Blew it at the start again with going off too fast and was caught out by an off road section that was hard going. First mile in 5:39, then pulled it back in line, but lost it off road with a 6:15. Minor point I think the official time was 8 seconds out, started on the line and crossed the finish at 37:48, but at the end of the day a miss is as good as a mile. Finished 29th place overall.

After running a fast half time the night before this was never going to be one of my quickest but I was pleased to get under 40 mins. Dull and overcast, nothing like the usual sunny day for this race.
