PB'd by 2 mins so fairly pleased with that. Found it tough going in places, especially the long uphill drag out of Corbridge and from about the 8 mile mark when my legs and back started feeling weak and tired. I was glad to see the finish line I have to say. But considering I'm only running twice a week at the minute I was quite pleased to get round in 10 min miles.
Very enjoyable race.. was hoping for 1hr 20 mins.. but totally blasted that out of the water.. very happy
very happy with the result as got in under the 1 hour that id set myself and finished in 23rd position
Really looking forward to this one as it's a good race. If i can sneak a 58:xx i will be very happy. UPDATE:- Needless to say I'm very happy. Great turn out today, hard work at times but really enjoyed it.
Recovering from injury so aim is to get round. *Update* Got round with no apparent damage to my ankle - yipee ! Took the first 5m steady then speeded up. Lovely day for running, still and cloudy
Wasn't as hilly as I had remembered. Actually rather flat...weather much kinder too.
Last little hill is still a killer though - when your legs don't have much left.
Great race over a good and scenic course. Too big a queue for the jelly!
This is my watch time (20 secs quicker than official time). Happy with it. : )
First 10 mile race for me. Unofficial PB was set in 2007 Tees Valley half marathon - 10 mile split of 1:04:44

I've not raced 10m before so this will be a first :D **update** shiny new pb and a silver medal in the British Masters 10 mile championships (L35s) :D - full report on my realbuzz blog (google 'graceless whippet')
Haven't done this one before. Am looking forward to it. Just hope it isn't bucketing down!!!
I really enjoyed this race. Great scenery. I am really pleased with my time. LAst hill a killer though!!!
This is my first ever 10M.
My best first 10M of a half is the GNW Half back in February I ran 59:03 so hoping to beat that if I can.
RESULT: Worked hard, felt pretty good until stitch just before mile 9, struggled with last hill. 31st Overall.
Just about same time as last year. Bit tired after night shifts and not a lot of sleep over last 3 days. Well organised event by Tynedale Harriers. Strong field, i was 63rd this year 42nd last year with same time.
Did too much running prior to race and did't feel 100%.
First time doing Run very hilly
