Still a way off, but the training miles are picking up, and it'll be my last chance this year to break the 1:40 barrier. Hope the snow stays off !! UPDATE : The wind from earlier in the week disappeared for a drizzly perfect running day. Averaged 7:30 min miles from the off, and kept it going all the way. Chuffed to bits to smash the pb by 3mins 51secs, and to finally get under that 1:40 barrier. Lovely stovies, beautiful pint of Guinness, soak in the tub, relax in front of the coal fire, does life get any better ?!
Gcad
Hoping to go better than Moray Half of the back of Loch Ness training.
Baza
This is an annual pilgrimage for Pitreavie. Alas not a counter this year, but hopefully their should be a few of us still coming up. Worth it for the stovies and atmosphere afterwards. *UPDATE* Alas not the best of runs, had breakfast to late and it just lay their! Pit stop at 9.5 mile solved the problem! and I ran 18:40 for the last 3.1 miles. Good weekend overall. Legs feel fine too, may even do Buchlyvie next weekend to make up for this.
wyvis
Objective this year is to finish before the stovies run out. Update-really un Clova weather-just a bit wet and not too windy. Stovies were lovely.
SuzeeDiamond
Brilliant race, will definitely do this one next year. Cold and rainy at the start but the rain went off after about 1.30 and it was quite nice until the wind picked up at mile 12, but stil well worth the effort.
