Very pleased to have beaten my PB.

Lost my footing in the mud and had a bit of a tumble !
Enjoyable half with an interesting 2 mile off road section.Slightly weary towards the end.
not a bad result considering the hills and 2 mile trail run stretch. bit of a pain to miss pb by 80 seconds. hey ho. lovely day out tho, might even go back next year. just watch that last hill bit. nice one sleaford striders.
Finished 3rd in 77.06. Found the first 7 miles hard going due to the off road section and hills, but the last 6 miles were gradual downhills or flat, so was able to get into a good rythm. (averaged 6 min miles for 1st 7 miles / averaged 5.45 min miles for last 6.1 miles).
Great race, well organised. Tea & biscuits were very much appreciated.
Well done Sleaford Striders.

1st of all big "SORRY" to those bet on me, the last hill drained me more than i realised, although i must admit, i deep down wanted to better my time from last year which i did if only by 1min 11secs (MY PB is 1hr 50m at GER)
Striders should take a Pat on the back for a very well organised event i will be back again next year
My new half PB!!!
Absolutely top race and ran all the way for the first time ever over this distance - hurrah to me!
Massive, huge PB for me. I knew I do well. previous was 1:34:something and expected it to go by a minute so was very very happy when nearly 5 minutes got removed.

First time ever under 90 minutes. Good weather, great marshals, perfect course - what more do yo want?

Whooppeeee A PB by 11 mins!!

A entertaining off road section that I perversely enjoyed...

and was reasonably happy untilt he hill at 11.5.. when I got to the top without any problem.. but then my legs decided they didn't want to work anymore!!

Great race Sleaford Striders... I enjoyed it!!

and even the bad weather kept away :o)
Overall good race off road cost me about 3mins looking at splits b4 and after legs tired at end though so a bit worried about London
Really enjoyed the course - hilly and off road section, but my legs were tired from LSR the day before so slightly frustrated with myself. Course suited me so think if I had had fresh legs I would have done a PB. Well organised - will definitely do this next year!
1st race in Tiger suit since last October. I set off a lot slower and the breathing was far easier and more in control
was poorly before the race
