Jigs Cold start but picturesque when the mist burnt off. Hilly and quite well marked, friendly marshals. Tapering so didn't go mad! Maybe a little faster than necessary. Didn't enjoy it as much as Belper but that was probably down to fewer numbers so found myself running on my own a lot. Nice to meet Heavyweight again and Dochart for the 1st time. Heavyweight Aproximate time. A lovely course ( although tough and seemingly never ending), a lot fewer runners than I expected made for quite a lonely run, punctuated by nice moments when others passed me and had a little chat. Nice to meet Mr & Mrs Jigs again - and quite pleased I finished not too far behind Mrs J. Bit of sense of humour failure with the marshals 'estimates' of how far to go - but every one of them was supporting and friendly, although clearly had no idea about distance (or enjoyed playing cruel jokes) UKnetrunner 2:50:30 2:50:30 2:50:30 44.04
