show off, I don't really mind you enjoying the race by the way, I forgot to ask if you thought it was good as I will add it to my calendar for next year instead, I wont be adding the seven miler again though!

K fell asleep in the car,the medicine obviously knocked her out so sorry if she was a little whingy about wanting to come home, she had been looking forward to seeing you all day, then as she does, clams up when she meets you :p

I have been a good girl and put the trophies in the fridge and promise not to eat them.

Just got a couple of fmails about the mile, think we have our youngest competitor now - two and a half, and possibly one spectator due to injured knee. Told them they could be a mini fetchpoint and share cake with us if they couldnt run :-)

Yes, it was a good run. Nowhere near a PB course, but nice country lanes and some *interesting* off road sections... K looked to be flagging in the cafe, if even Penny Pigs can't wake her up I think she needed sleep!

nope, penny pigs were barely eaten, I have to say she now weighs a ton, trying to carry her from the car to the house was hard work but I did get a fantastic cuddle off her. At least we now know why she has been the brat from hell all weekend. She has been so much worse than normal (which is normally pretty bad) but her poor nose hasn't stopped running all day. Of course she says she is not poorly and feels fine but trust me my baby is ill. She has gone to the grandparents now for most of next week so horrid mummy can do the gym on a morning instead of driving to the far side of york to come all the way back and drive to the other side to get to work.

I made sure she had plenty of her cuddly toys with her to keep her company tonight. Bless heart
