Roadworks. And bastard wankers who think their journey is more important than mine, so they cut up the inside and try to push back into the traffic. Or they run red lights. I saw NINE vehicles run red lights today. FFS, what's so important that you have to bugger up everyone else's journey??
(and my spell check thinking that bastard & bugger is fine, but wanker is a spelling error.)

People who cause a big problem, vanish, wait until the smoke clears then wander back and behave as if the trouble they created "just happened" by itself, is a total surprise to them and they can't believe there's been such a fuss.

People who say, "Oh, well, thanks anyway," after they've had 30 minutes of reeling off symptom after symptom in a 10-minute appointment slot.
Being told by the RCGP that I'm a rubbish doctor and failing my patients if I don't see this litany of self-obsession as a prompt to enquire about domestic violence.

Control freaks. People who demand loyalty but think it's fine to show absolutely none themselves.

Are any of the unhappy people on this thread victims of domestic violence? (Now the Royal College of Internet Forums should be happy with Fetch).

We have a Super like that. Not 'our' Super, but one attached peripherally to the project with whom I have to work more often than is ideal.

Statistically, one in six of you is a victim of Domestic Violence of Abuse.
So yes, probably.
And a similar proportion of Fetch contributors will be wife-beaters. Or husband-beaters, of course.
Did you know that, statistically, people who are on the receiving end of domestic violence are 32 times more likely to say they're afraid of their spouses than people who aren't? Who'd've guessed?

Is this diabetes amputation stat that is all over the news today actually statistically significant? Are there any More or Less listeners here (Nellers, Glenners?) who, like me, suspect that it might not be?

Probably as statistically significant as the increased risk of breast cancer if you take HRT. Or the decreased risk of breast cancer if you take the other HRT.
