Ever since our daughter was born on Valentine's Day (2007), my wife and I have stopped buying each other gifts. Sorry if it sounsd a bit soppy, but we'd rather not line the pockets of shops and florists who clearly hike their prices, with the next one being on Mothering Sunday.

If you cannot teach them that life is not fair, then (make up your own consequence or conclusion). We were about half successful in this endeavour.

I've just seen the statement that Countryfile is a source of 'constant propaganda from the Countryside Alliance.'' because they showed an article on game keeping and butchering (CULLED) deer.
