Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Fragile DNB - I just hate Sweatyshop full stop. It's like Sports Direct without the benefit of low prices. When i occasionally go in there thinking it might have improved, it's never any better. Stroppy staff and crap brands on the rare occasion that actually have anything in the right size.

As Miss Ch says, definitely lah-teh - It's just the Italian for milk :-)

"Can I get?" yes! I've been hating that into myself for quite some time now. I have a few very nice friends who say it and it makes me want to just screech! But I don't.

Coffee themed: being asked if I want milk with an Americano. If I wanted milk in it, I'd've ordered a latte or a flat white in the first place, not something that's just supposed to be coffee and water.

similarly, if I want an ordinary coffee I need to ask for an Americano with milk.

Hot beverage themed - "Jamie, do you want a coffee?", No thanks, don't like the stuff. "Do you want a tea then?", Nah, I don't drink tea. "Oh my god, WHAT DO YOU DRINK?"

Because squash, juice and water clearly don't exist...

Mr Jono to you Sir!
whilst we are talking about, well talking - whats with this habit of missing words out of a sentence?

for instance *Product* when you should say *the product* or *in store* and people just say *store*

is it an attempt to sound more clever???

sound like a bunch of knobs who have been on some self styled management course

Sad to report that the ritualistic starting of every sentence with the word "so" ( particularly by pseudo expert dickheads wanting to sound intelligent ) has now reached pandemic proportions , particularly on BBC Radio 4 ....On Melvin Bragg last night they were so'ing away like paedophiles in a prison shed ...

BMW drivers who on the very rare occasions they actually find and operate their indicators still fail to realise that they are supposed to signal your intentions before a move, not to be used when the manouvre is underway so that the rest of us can get the fuck out of their way or get driven into.
