Actually RMo3B, it's a very good cook book. Mrs Star uses it all the time.

Watching my eating habits and weight go to pot over Xmas. I KNOW I'll regret it, I know that the extra portions and greed over and above eating just a reasonable amount of very nice food is not a huge amount of additional pleasure, but a lot of regret after yet I still fill my boots repulsively and excessively. I never learn to moderate.
Rags me off every time. Just about got it under control now, but damage is done.

Tell me about it. I'm dreading the scales when I make myself get on them in a couple of days.
I'm getting married in 4 months so it's just more weight I'll have to lose before then.

Did I feel heavy running just after Christmas. Still getting through nibbles and chocolate at some rate before the serious training begins.

People who consider themselves qualified to judge what counts as a disability and therefore who may or may not use a disabled parking bay, and furthermore on the basis of their (incorrect) assessment believe they then have the right to be abusive.

Fully understand your point, Fellrunning. It's a pity that in our society there are many who claim a to have a disability just to get something for nothing it means passing judgement on those who are entitled to receive benefits.
For example, I used to take in applications for Freedom Passes (for those not living in London, it gives free travel on public transport for the elderly and disabled). Some of these applications have stated conditions such as 'sore knee' and 'agoraphobia.'
A colleague of mine once assessed a client who appeared to mobilise with great difficulty and in pain. When peeping through the curtain once they left the building, it was noticed their movement had dramatically improved.
