Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Does depend where you're walking. My gears are much more ground by pedestrians on the completely unlit busway path who are dressed in dark clothes with no reflective material than by the ones with a bit of reflective material. Gives me a lot more warning and time to position my feet or my bike to avoid collisions. And that goes quadruple for black dogs scampering around the path in the dark.

That said, hiviz on a dog is sometimes a red flag for an owner who values the dog but can't properly control it.

That's true. The people I see are on brightly lit main roads but of course they might have come through a dark area to get there.

People who walk whilst swinging their arms wildly. Walking from the station to the office and back trying to get past some people is a challenge - they seem to take up most of the pavement walking whilst swinging their arms really widely!

Doing all the pre-match work while my coaching colleague chats to people.

Sitting here like a lemon while my boss, who is supposed to be meeting with me, chats with someone else.

Spot a theme here?
