Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The fact that about 75% of every new song is sang in some stripped back soppy tone and has appeared on some advert. Let's have some variety songwriters

Another vote for the no make up selfies. It's just blatant attention seeking and fishing for compliments because under every single pic you will see "beautiful" "gorgeous hun" "stunning". And lots of them are clearly still wearing some make up anyway.

I got my cat to do a selfie and posted it #nomakeupselfie :-)

money lender adverts followed by betting/bingo etc adverts. Ban the bloody lot, how to make people with little money have even less, and the greedy money grubbing twats advertising become millionaires on other peoples misery. Absolute total utter scum.

Very load talkers in confined spaces!

We are not deaf, and being as we were talking first, it's actually quite rude to literally talk over us.

Television programmes - Countryfile is a prime example - where they start a story then say "join us later in the programme to see what happens next". Then they waste more time by saying "Earlier in the programme we saw how..."

No. Tell a story from start to finish. Please.

Nearly as annoying as TV programmes that have a 5 minute message and choose to tell it 5 times which for some reason takes 60 minutes.

TV series that make you wait all year (sometimes more) for a new series then make three. Sherlock and Top Gear being the ones I am predominantly thinking of, though Top Gear has gone downhill quite badly.
