Mine is when people think that making the best of something, generally work related, is pretending that something is a good idea and completely fine when in actual fact the whole situation is utterly ridiculous and doomed to failure from the start. It drives me mad the lengths folk will go to pretend that X is a great idea when X is quite obviously a steaming pile of horse manure, but they are too scared to tell the boss that so they nod and agree whilst I say what. I think and then everyone thinks I am the negative one. Even when I am proved correct three months down the line, they never forget the negative tag.

On the subject of projectile vomiting _ I can still recall a trip to Temple Newsam in Leeds with our friends twin toddlers when one of them said he didn't feel well - almost before he'd finished saying it I swear sick came out of him and must have spewed 6 feet up and forward - seen nothing like it before or since He then proceeded to smile and carry on as if nothing had happened.
