How is it that intelligent, hardworking and keen people like you (and me) hang around at the bottom of the food chain work-wise when we have so much to offer? Then you have (mis) managers layers above us who rake in the dosh, aren't even approaching adequate at their roles and never get pulled up for it? A few theories are: 1 The people who appointed them can't admit failure. 2 They are easy to manage. 3 They are "yes" people. This grinds my gears on a daily basis.
