ERM
+1 for the Carol Vorderman thing.
Now she's causing the media to swoon as she learning to fly a plane (apparently to fly round the world as her next project)
Hope she's not paid for it with one of those loans she used to advertise.

Slightly (well, very) off-topic but ERM, your avatar - that's the cover of Power, Corruption & Lies, intit? I love that album. Hooky and his new band are touring the US doing Movement and PC&L. I seem to have missed them doing it in London earlier in the year. Gutted.
Back on topic, as you were, carry on.

I just keep thinking *ok Carol, I'm listening to you talk about Maths, Pride of britain, clothes advice, house design, syria - but you've still got a big arse*
Am I wrong to think in such shallow terms - and I would'nt mind that CV has a big arse accept that she's took so long to get rid of it, hide it (the camera man never gets a full on shot of it) - this view point s supported by Mrs J.

You listen to her singing? That isn't her most important attribute.

Wobbling - I've just had a read of your blog and all the supportive replies. How is it that intelligent, hardworking and keen people like you (and me) hang around at the bottom of the food chain work-wise when we have so much to offer? Then you have (mis) managers layers above us who rake in the dosh, aren't even approaching adequate at their roles and never get pulled up for it? A few theories are:
1 The people who appointed them can't admit failure. 2 They are easy to manage. 3 They are "yes" people.
This grinds my gears on a daily basis.
