If you want to play some childish game which involves laughing up your sleeves at half the population, fine, but don't dress it up as 'breast cancer awareness' and imply that if you don't join in, you don't care about cancer. It doesn't raise any awareness of cancer anyway - I am not aware of anything about breast cancer that I wasn't aware of before these ridiculous messages started.

And anyway, if they want to raise awareness of breast cancer they ought to be including the men, because they can get it too and are less likely to be aware of it and what to look for. So the 'don't tell the men' bit is a complete own-goal.
