Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The stupid 'don't tell the men' thing on Facebook. If you want to play some childish game which involves laughing up your sleeves at half the population, fine, but don't dress it up as 'breast cancer awareness' and imply that if you don't join in, you don't care about cancer.

It doesn't raise any awareness of cancer anyway - I am not aware of anything about breast cancer that I wasn't aware of before these ridiculous messages started.

have to agree with you, carp. the first year was a little bit of a giggle. but repeating it somehow takes the light-heartedness away and somehow makes it 'them and us'. i've ignored it this year.

I assume that that was the "I'm going to ___ for __ months" nonsense that two of my friends posted about. I ignored them. Find it pretty childish...

Also that was going round years ago. If they're going to spam us with shite at least keep it up to date.

Yes. And anyway, if they want to raise awareness of breast cancer they ought to be including the men, because they can get it too and are less likely to be aware of it and what to look for. So the 'don't tell the men' bit is a complete own-goal.

Pandas. Just let them die out. They're crap at breeding and eat a food which is so poor nutritionally that they have to eat a tonne of it just to stay alive. They clearly don't want to live.

The man speaks sense. We're fighting against nature keeping them alive. Mind you, I feel the same way about some of the stupid people I have to deal with day to day.
