Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Lack of manners on PoF. Although I've already moaned about it a lot on the Shelf thread...

Showers with a full temperature range dial where the range of 'acceptable' temperature is approx 0.0000000001cm of the range. Result is you spend ages moving the dial a fraction of a cm to have the temperature go from scalding to ice cold and then back again.

hahaha so true XB. I've never seen a sink with a pop-up waste that would hold water long enough to let me have a shave - even when it was recently installed.

Unfortunately OH chose a centre spout tap on our last sink - I've just about got the hang of remebering to move my head to prevent me banging it

To be fair to the girls on pof, I used to ignore about 95% of the messages I got. I started off responding to them but when you're getting on average 5 messages a day, more at the weekend, you end up spending so much time telling people no that it just gets really depressing.

Right now, I'd put up with a centre-spout tap. Or any type of tap, including those annoying ones with a cutaway at the top so you can see the water as it comes out and that project so far forwards that there's barely any usable sink space. We only have one tap in the bathroom that currently works.
Also a combination of a temperamental boiler and not having a shower is grinding my gears. It sometimes takes so long to get the boiler fired up long enough to heat enough water for a bath that I give up and have it cold. I have put up with this for over ten years but for some reason it's become more annoying recently.
