Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

and of course there's the bit in the Highway Code that tells you that the middle lane of a motorway is for overtaking not sitting in!

"solutions"

I saw on a van the other day "Glazing Solutions". That's windows, right?

Then I noticed the toilet roll holder at work was from a "Dispensing Solutions" company. Someone had to think that up.

I'm actually wondering how they are going to enforce that. If I overtake lorry "A" and lorry "B" is up the road what is the minimum distance "N" that there would have to be between lorries "A" and "B" before I would be considered to be breaking the law by staying in the centre lane?

FR - I think you're over-thinking it. Why wouldn't you just pull in left as soon as it was possible? (Unless one lorry is basically in the slipstream of the other)

WH Smiths. For always trying to flog a £1 bar of chocolate something or other whenever I just want to buy a magazine.
