Bad parenting like that does really make me angry.
People complain about what kids are like these days but if they're treated like that by the person who's supposed to love them the most, what do they expect? And I see it all the time living in the ghetto. I'd love to say something but don't fancy the stabbing that would follow.

The problem is that so often tnis is second or third generation. The chav parent was treated by their parents in the same way they treat their children. We don't get taught how to parent, we pick it up from our experience of being parented

My son (3) doesn't understand why other people don't do as he's been told. He'd be stood there shouting "No, we don't cross now!" at the chav mum. Setting a poor example like that can also have a knock on effect on other children witnessing the poor behaviour.

Like most city dwellers, I'm prone to crossing without a green man (because I know I can get across) but I won't do it if there's a small child at the crossing waiting safely for the lights to change

When the doughnut woman was giving out the doughnuts today she was also promoting organ donation and giving people leaflets about it as her brother had a kidney transplant recently. I sighed and waited for the inevitable cry of "they can take what they want but not my eyes". I think someone must have said this in the media many years ago and it just took off. I don't get it. I pressed some of the people concerned and it seems the only reason is "it would just feel weird". But upon further questioning they decided they also wouldn't want someone to use their face for one of those full face transplants or their whole hands etc. It seems they're only happy to donate body parts that are hidden inside. Their body, their choice. But it grinds my gears.

People turning up an hour early for appointments and then getting annoyed when I have to turn them away.

When my car goes in for its 4 year service and costs me ore than it is currently worth just to make it legal. Suspension, brakes and tyres are worth it, right?
