Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Being on standby

Car drivers driving like complete wankers then having a Caution Baby on Board sign or a Think Bike sign in the rear window.

Pretending it's a new series when all it really is is 45 minutes of a repeat with 5 minutes added to the top and tail.

Settling down to watch what's heralded as a "gritty new police procedural set in Paris" with reasonably well-known Froggie actor Jean Reno, to discover:
Reno speaks with a preeeeposterrrrus Franglais accent;
All the other actors speak in their native American, together with Americanisms. I can see a few French people being left feeling somewhat misrepresented...

I suppose in the network's defence, it IS being broadcast on Fox HD, a channel which is possibly not known for either it's inclusivity to foreigners, or indeed it's love of all things French...

Just get the Spiral box set. Unless you've already seen all 4 series.

Handling fees for ticket agencies. They don't handle tickets and its all computerised FFS
Oh and charging you more for using a credit card than a debit card? Why? What difference does it make to them where the money comes from!

They have to pay a higher fee to the card company for credit cards. But whether it's as much as the fee they pass on....
