Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The price our local leisure centre charges to go swimming. They even have a peak and off-peak price :-O Seriously, £4.20 just to swim up and down a 25 metre pool?

Ouch. Steep :-0 How does that fit with a council's healthy living policies?

God know JenL. Its because its a leisure centre and the training pool is "attached" by a swim channel through the flumes and the leisure pool. My last pool only cost £2.90 for any time of day and their monthly pass is much cheaper. This one if you have a leisure pass, you still have to pay a reduced rate entry fee. Bloody rip off is what it is. Think I will continue to use my old pool. Its only a few more miles travel added

I really don't see Dale's appeal...and I thought the BBC had cottoned on when he got replaced on Radio 2 by Tony Blackburn...but no...he's there every Saturday night...can he not find his way out...someone show him..please!!

People who don't wash their hands after using the toilet. You might not care about where your hands have been and what they touch, but I have to use that door handle after you.

You dirty filthy bastard.

I've often wondered if anyone has ever called out to someone in a public or workplace toilet "Excuse me. Have you forgotten something?" in the same way some people do with litter droppers? Perhaps we all should in future?
