And that really meant beef, lamb, any sort of mince and sausages. It just got easier to say I was veggie. I don't mind red meat so much now but the thought of a cottage pie still makes me want to puke.

And possibly grind a whole lot of gears myself by blithely saying, "Oh, yes, I'll eat anything as long as it doesn't have onions or recognisable eggs in it," then boaking on the first bite of a burger.
