Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

You don't have to like it. But stop whining about it and taking the pleasure out of it for the rest of us. Miserable git

Weather people talking about 'accumulations'. Met Office wankspeak for 'snow on the ground' which is 2 syllables less and doesn't sound so pompous.

"Inbox me", as an exhortation to communicate with someone via email. I might throw you "in" a "box", perhaps.

The weather reporter on the news locally who said we could have snow of "5cms..or maybe 10 or 15 cms.." not much fucking difference there then, could be anything then, might as well be forecasting 25 centigrade and sunshine

My inability to eat anything without also chomping on the swollen lump inside my lip that I accidentally macerated at lunchtime.

Heebiejeebie - I do that all the time and it REALLY grinds my gears. 4 times yesterday in the usual place. The 4th time, I shredded the inside of my lip. There is so much scar tissue there now, that I will macerate it on average once a month. :(

People who are so important that they can't wait to leave the plane before turning their phone back on and do it while the stewardess is still reminding them not to. Facebook, twitter and Words with Friends will survive without you for another two minutes.
