Checked the website for visiting arrangements, etc which clearly stated that both parents can be present, visitors and children OK. Upon arrival, I was told that it had not been updated since COVID-19 began and that only one parent is allowed bedside who must remain on the ward. I am just glad I didn't bring our son along. So apart from a coffee while our daughter was in theatre, I have only really spoken to my wife via mobile despite being in or around the same building all day.
