Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The Mo. I applaud men who have chosen to grow a Mo for the phenomenon that is Movember, but why have they all chosen to look like a 70's porn star? I have a friend who has asked several of them if they could fix her washing machine.
I admit I have no Mo this year because when I did, I got told I looked like Ned Flanders. BUT! If I join in next year, you can be rest assured that my Mo will be different to just about everyone else's. I'm considering Chaplin or Flynn.
In the meantime, feast your eyes on this:

I have no idea where it stops.

What really grinds my gears? I'll tell you bloody what

- people at work who expect you to fucking act at though their ideas for your job are fucking top notch when a 5 year old with a crayon and a tube of blue smarties could implement better changes to the service.

- All the God damn bollocking PRD, ARD any other sodding acronym for writing down a load of bullshit which is meant to be personal development but ends up being a fucking list of THINGS FOR ME TO DO THAT I DON'T WANT TO DO, because I'm meant to develop instead of just doing the stuff in my job description I get to do my managers jobs for free so they can pretend I'm 'developing'. I did my developing at puberty, you wankers

- Change. I hate change and I am never going to agree that your e fora ed change is anything other than a Goddam waste of my time. Bugger off.

AND YES, I'M SHOUTING.

Sorry, feel better now. Apologies for the swearing.

this morning's idiot roadkill on wheels cyclist with no lights, no reflectors on a dark bike in dark clothes - utter muppet. Some poor car will wipe him out and frankly he is a nominee for the Darwin Awards. Let's hope no NHS funds are wasted on him.

CStar - I hope they all get wiped out and stop giving us non-stupid cyclists a bad name.

Road kill on wheels: I've narrowly missed an awful lot of them this November, CStar. And not even at dusk or dawn, it's been properly dark and raining. Maybe it's a suicide attempt?

Finishing one day with a late housecall request that was so inappropriate it would have been funny had it not delayed my getting home for an extra 45 minutes, and coming in early the next morning to be mugged by a demand to prescribe a different flavour of medicine because someone's brat doesn't fancy taking the banana flavour. And not being allowed to say, "Restrain the kid between your knees, pinch its nostrils shut with one hand and syringe the stuff down its throat, and if you can't restrain a three-year-old then by definition it's not ill enough to need medicine."
