Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[I took great delight in torturing my sister by giving her first born spawn noisy gifts ~ As well as being the younger, I was a small kid and she took every advantage she could ... and I took the opportunity to consider and utilise lots and lots of small evils ;-) *mwhahaha* :-) ]

[Every year when my nephew was small, I'd wind my sister up by telling her "I've bought Ed a great Christmas present! A drum kit!" just to see the look of horror on her face. I never did it, but she fell for it every year. I'm so mean.]

[I had no objection to drum kits. At least they're silent when not in use, and if I can hear a child playing drums I know they're not up to other mischief.]

[Upwards in my case. Ed turned into a guitarist then a DJ with no need for my help, though I did help him a bit with guitar technique.

Fragile Do Not Bend
I had a great time at the athletics, but some of the people sitting around me were like fleas, jumping up out of their seats at every opportunity. So of course everyone sitting behind them has to stand up too, if they want to see anything. And its harder to see over standing behind someone else standing up, than if everyone sat down.

I'm glad I was watching the 5000m not the 10000m, every bloody lap we were up and down like a fiddler's elbow.
