Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

While on the subject of sabotaging other people's parenting efforts, I taught a grandson to climb into and out of his cot today.

I'm sure he'd have managed it in a day or two without my help.

Good example of what I posted earlier:

"I managed to bag myself another sub 90min HM finishing in 1:29:40. My garmin watch measured it as 13.24miles so my actual half marathon time will probably be a little faster but I haven't checked strava yet

I've just checked my strava and it tells me that I ran 13.1 miles in 1:28:48! That's a new PB yippee!!!!!!"

I rarely access my ISA online and when I do, I can't remember the password.

I designated a book to put passwords in, but it's not in there. I imagine I put it somewhere extra special safe and wrote it in code! I've had this problem at least 4 times and each time I have to wait for a new password to be sent via post. Grrrrr.

All my passwords are listed in a form that I can interpret in a document. E.g. if my document says abC, that might stand for acornbangorCottage. All except one password, the very most important and secure of all, that is something like khf9q8n981ch1ncf1n and that one is written out in full. The username for that account is similar.

People that let their kids (primary school age) 'play out' until it's nearly dark, shouting and screeching outside other people's houses. If you think it is acceptable for them to make that much noise then why not make sure they do it in front of (or ideally, inside) your own house!
