Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

People in hospital clinics creating work for me by giving patients opinions on areas of medicine that they have no business making pronouncements on, like, "You should be better by now, maybe you've got Something Underlying/cancer/hyporhubarbaemia, go and ask your GP."

Vodafone and their crap website. How is the email address you send my bills to not my registered email address? And, why is it not, is it not one of the only two other personal email addresses I've ever used.

Management at work bending over backwards to accommodate people's holiday requests at ring-fenced times but turning down 4 of mine at non-ring-fenced times.

'Have you had a chance to look at that email I sent?'

'Sorry no, we're flat out at the moment but I will get to it'

'If you could look at it before Friday...'

'I'm sorry but I'm really tied up in Saturday's event and everything else has been put on the back burner' (yesterday 'everything else' included going to the loo, today it was eating, Tuesday it was 'going home')

'Yeah but if you could just look at it...'

Responsibilities are grinding my gears.
Getting itchy feet.
People keep inviting me to things I can't do. And I can't do them for really boring reasons, like work, step children etc.

When you leave batteries in devices for too long and the leakage crystallises in the battery chamber. Such a pain in the arse to clean!

People who ask you to find documentations at work and when you've searched everywhere for missing ones tell you "Ah yes, those won't be in the cabinets as they've been archived and are not needed." Not even a sorry. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

People typing "Did you used to...?" instead of "Did you use to...?". It's the equivalent of asking "Did you went to...?" or "Did you spoke to...?"
