Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

These invasive species are getting ridiculous. Japanese knotweed, American mink, Asian hornets etc., and according to the weather forecast we now also have to look out for Apache frost...

(don't get me started on updates Chris HB, bane of my life with a phone, laptop and several Garmins. The Garmins are the worst - if you survive an update with a still working machine that still has history and all your settings it's a bloody miracle.)

Atonal M, our Tescos down here say 'earn' not 'win'. Are you sure you're not mishearing it?

If I park my car at a designated race car park, I am always leafleted. I don't mind that as it's a good reminder of what other events are out there. I have also been recommended to do the same for races I organise but I am a bit reluctant to leaflet the local parkrunners vehicles.

Leaflets getting stuck to your windscreen like papier maché because somebody's put them there when it's raining.

The self-service checkouts at my local Morrisons will tell you "surprising item in the bagging area". Surprising? What. like a live snake or something?
