Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

What do you watch whilst using a turbo trainer?

Think I got through a movie and one blackadder series DVD during my monster 4hr 45 min turbo in 2010.

It was f&&king awful. Outside was out of the question though with a foot of snow down.

Sport usually does it for me; watching something but wioth radio commentary works well.

Ah OK Adgers - phew.

Why's that Idio? No singletrack slant to it (I've not been on there long enough), I just struggle to use the turbo trainer it's been used more so far this winter than the last 3 in total I reckon. Helps that I've tidied the garage out a bit.

was OK AJPAR but the quality wasn't too good for some reason. Gave me a good workout as a few hills to do but they are as hard as you make the session I suppose. I found the music pretty annoying tho......still prefer the garage with the ipod I think but if there are any other traininng DVD's that people can recommend then will give them a go. ;-)

We have a double length garage and a couple of years back had half converted into a gym with a big widescreen tv on the wall, since then i don't mind getting out there as long as I have something to watch. Also have an air con machine which helps and gets used most of the year with the exception of the 2 months where temperatures are below 5C.
