Ok ok - Now i feel bad about even thinking about not doing it. Look out for a Bryan at the fetch point. Not sure what i'll be wearing - i havent planned that far ahead. And your mum is a bit worried - if she hasn't told you she's just hiding it well.

Am I too late to join the 'Do It' crowd! By the way, my mum is worried as well. (About me that is!) She was actually in tears on the phone 2 days ago. I've been told it's part of the job description!

Run it. Start slow, slow down and take it in. You prob wouldn't have. Won anyway 😃 One of the most enjoyable great north runs I had was when I wasn't fit and just jogged round enjoying the day rather than pushing through the crowds for a time. |

Thanks for all of your positive advice. Went around sticking close to the 4:15 pacer. Had a great time - hands tired from high fiving and face tired from grinning. By far my most enjoyble marathon. Even mum said well done.
