Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

I'm on Blue. It says in the magazine that because of the Olympic Horse stuff going on (several months after VLM) that access will be restricted around the starts and that runners should use the correct railway station for their start. Does this mean that if I was in the vicinity of Greenwich station (which is quite likely) I might not be able to walk to the blue start from there?

And before anyone advises me to read the instructions properly - I do intend to, just wondered if anyone local knows how much of the park is closed off for Olympic Horseing and whether this means it will/won't be possible to walk between the red and blu start?

OK I have now read the instructions and it says to collect my number I must bring photographic identification of either a driving licence or passport

My driving licence is the old sort without a picture and I don't have a passport.

Anyone else been in this position and if so how did you resolve it please?

My mum had that problem Baroness (not for VLM but for ID in general) She gave in and got a photo driving licence.

I'd go down with every other piece of ID I could think of. Driving licence and utility bills and anything random that you've got with your name and a picture on it.

Got something to say?
