I've only been anaemic once and that was when i was 10, i had been a vegetarian for nearly 2 years and i had just started my periods. The doctors and my dad made a huge fuss blaming it on being a vegetarian but thankfully i had my mum on my side, a lady who hadn't eaten meat since she was 3, having never been anaemic! She helped me eat the foods high in iron and it went from there!

I've been eating healthily for nearly a week now and I feel as weak as a kitten and just want to go to sleep. Whats that all about?

RT have you given up simple and refined carbs? your body might not be used to working for it's energy.

Today, I have mainly been eating salmon and dill fishcakes with sweet chilli sauce No pudding though.
We were sending off a Dutch colleague who is going back to the Netherlands for a three year research sabbatical. He taught us a "Dutch drinking song" which basically involved singing "It's your round, it's your round, it's your round...". I think he's become very Anglicised since he's been here!

normal things really, just cut out the sweets, chocolate and crisps so yes, the simple and refined carbs. normal exercise, 10 miles cycling, 17 running ( so far) 1 mile swimming, nothing earth shattering but yes, probably on less calories than I am used to.

I suspect he made it up on the spot, Hann. It didn't sound very musical... although that could be his poor singing I guess.
