Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

There is BM, I saw one last summer on a tank like singlespeed in 3/4 length cycling trousers that were probably 50 years old and had no padding, He was also wearing a wooly jumper and a cap. It was about 30C and he was half way up to Alpe d'Huez!

I understand the wheels thing, it is the one upgrade to my bike Iwould like but the wheels I want cost as much as my bike did 8 years ago :¬0

Can't do it unless I actually start training properly again.

Has this been bought up before?..... has anyone looked at C+'s foray into the Tri world with Triathlon Plus? Any good? I have to admit, whilst 220 smells good it sort of scares me!

Yeah Gobi, that is what I am thinking...

In all seriousness, I'd like zome Zipp wheels, but they are too expensive... but a nice wheel upgrade is the way to go and even with some lower end racing wheels, I still would look to spend almost as much as the whole bike cost me a few years back too :)

I LIKE my Giant, a lot... and I reckon it will do a lovely job at getting me around races in my first season, as long as I kit it out with some better wheels...

I am reluctant to go forb the full bling carbon racing bike, as I hate the all the gear and no idea image that will no doubt create, no matter what the coach and trainer would want me to do...
