BB - cheers. More to look at later (although I note medium are out of stock to mid-march, would small fit me? I wear small adidas running shorts). Greg - that's proper value that. Slow - Used it for what? Is it like turtle wax? |

Hendo, the padding in bike shorts is called Chamois because it used be ackshually made from chamois leather. After you washed the shorts, youhad to rub chamois cream into it to soften it again, otherwise it was like sandpaper. And it all cracked and went manky. And if you didn't wash them, it grew mushrooms. I was quite suprised to see that it still exists given that the padding is now all synthetic - and wondered if anyone stull used it, and whether there was any benefit to be had. |
