Surely you'd just HTFU and go? It's not like you're going to want to lose time by stopping, is it?? |

What? Do an actual poo in your kit? It'd be a bit squidgy on the bike. |

lol. I did read a report from someone in an ironman whose approach to taking a leak was to stand up on the pedals and just pee down his leg. I'd be worried about the corrosive effects on the bike alloy, but hey....I liked the attitude it showed. Can't imagine wanting to take a dump whilst actually competing though. have done a fifteenhour ultra and never had the slightest urge to go. Empty everything first thing in the morning. Works for me ![]() |

Slow mentioned Santini TOPs - they are excellent, but not exceptionally hardwearing. If you are going the Santini route (and you should, for all love - and tell the good folk from Prendas I sent you - srs), try these, which are (a) excellent and (b) used to feature the most useless pocket in the entire world, somewhere between your shoulder blades, now sadly designed out, it seems: prendas.co.uk |

You normally get one good shot of a pro cyclist with pulled up shorts and lifted leg spraying away each summer. |

Morning all, Happy Birthday Hann ![]() Planning a few miles tonight. Tempted to do a few more tomorrow to take me over the 100 for the month, but I'm not sure that would be sensible. Bib shorts are a must for rides, although going to the toilet is a bit of a faff roadside or in toilets (full zip cycling shirt helps there). I too wear a trisuit for short races, and seperates for longer events - not for the poo factor, but because I find a two piece that little bit more comfortable. As for number/race belts covering your nether regions....... the belts can twist round when running so remember to re-adjust. My OH told me off every lap of a 3 lap course for the belt twisting round! |

SIf you are looking at buget and haven't worn bibs before it might sound a bit much, true. Go and try some TOPs, though. Santini. YKIMS.
