Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Joe - lots of people walked the hills on the TR too! And I know we're talking *hills*, but in comparison to Box Hill they were nothing, I think the course elevation was 149m - you'd love it! :)

I thought the worse one was the one coming up to the 1K marker. It was steep, narrow through the trees and very twisty.
But at least you knew you had the worst part of the lap over very early on.

Joe - I walked all the hills from the very start. It was difficult to have people passing and know you should be running but on such a long distance you have to be desiplined and pace yourself to conserve your energy. They did seem to get bigger with each lap and the last steep down as you came into the field near the end was just murder after about 10laps.

I know I'm going to regret this (and I certainly haven't asked permission yet) but, having had to decline the kind invitation this year due to holiday plans I might (MIGHT) depending on holidays etc be up for joining Team Gooner for this next year - it certainly sounds a hoot an a good chance to get a few solid miles in
