What a weekend ... brilliant just doesn't do it justice :)

Thanks to my team, 'five run around in circles', covering for me when I was late we got in 19 laps and achieved 33rd position in the mixed fives but then who cares about positions when ... as JJ Flash put it at the end "the aim was to do our best and enjoy ourselves" and I reckon we all did just that :)

Bring on next year .....

Well done everyone great to meet some more fetchies and thanks for the encouragment when you passed me. Not a good experience for me this year very sick and ill for pretty much all of the run, so was unable to make my targets - very dissapointed - oh well theres always next year.

It was an amazing weekend, I have never kept a race number but I might actually keep this one for posterity - "3" was definitely a magic number for me. 16 laps completed, 10 with phal. I not only conquered 99 miles but my worst nightmare weather wise I so dislike running in weather like that, nightime was so welcome. The encouragement from everyone was so moving at times and pretty amazing. Thanks to everyone for the support, and a special thank you to phal and C-Cat for looking after me, feeding me and even driving me and my car home afterwards, I hadn't properly thought that bit through.
